Marlene Jenkins Cooper is an author, publisher, podcaster, musician, and retired public school teacher. It's Not Worth The Weight is her fourth. Her other books include While in the Valley: Teachable Moments in a Difficult Place and Grace Notes: Five-Minute Inspirational Devotionals for the Church Choir, Musician, and Friends of Music and Life 101: Money Management and Adulting Made Simple During her thirty-four years of teaching service, she not only held the general vocal music teacher position but later also became a computer specialist.
As a 13-week course, the author used her Life 101 curriculum to teach her students about money management, life stages, and how to make wise decisions in the future. Today, many of her former students are using what they learned from this class as adults. Ms. Cooper holds degrees from Temple University and The King’s College. She is the parent of two adult children and one granddaughter.. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, swimming, and playing tennis. |
